Peter Brodribb

Peter Brodribb BEng/Mech (Hons), MBA is a highly experienced and qualified energy efficiency and climate change consultant. He has extensive experience preparing economic and technical models, greenhouse gas inventories and policy papers to evaluate the impact of Energy Efficiency and Carbon Policy for State and Federal policy makers, international inter-governmental agencies and industry.

He is a specialist in strategic and technical issues associated with direct and indirect emissions in the Climate Change, Energy and HVAC&R industries. Peter has over twenty years’ experience in Australia and overseas in energy technology, products and systems with specialist expertise in the HVAC and the refrigerated cold chain industries gained whilst working for blue chip corporations (incl. Lennox, Heatcraft, Lovelocks, Honeywell Australia & UK, Cadbury Schweppes). He is a professional engineer, having obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree with honours from the University of Melbourne in 1986 and holds a plumbing industry license obtained through practical hands on industry experience. Peter completed a Master of Business Administration in 1996 and recently successfully completed the NABERS assessor training course.

He is regularly engaged as an expert witness in disputes regarding delivery of complex mechanical services contracts and as a mechanical engineer has the technical intuition to rapidly attain the knowledge required to assess emerging low emission technologies outside his core areas of experience.
